Who can help

If your doctor has diagnosed you or another member of your family with CAE, you might qualify to participate in the study.

Participation involves very little time and effort.

All medical information that you provide to the study will remain completely confidential.

We will contact you and speak to you about your medical history.

A small blood sample or saliva specimen will be taken from all participating family members.

An EEG may be performed on unaffected children under the age of 20 years old.

Everything is usually done within 1/2 to 2 hours.

You can collect saliva at your home and mail it to us in a prepaid envelope.

We can come to your family's home for blood drawing and/or EEG or you can go to a hospital/blood drawing facility near you.
